Riyadh: Bangladeshi worker who risked his life to save a car engulfed in flames in Saudi Arabia has earned him the title of a national hero, receiving praise from the public and social circles.
According to Saudi Arabian media, the worker, hailing from Bangladesh, showed exceptional courage as he attempted to rescue the car despite it being engulfed in fire.
Social media has been abuzz with a viral video showcasing the incident, where a car can be seen on fire and the worker rushes to help extinguish the flames and save the vehicle.
During the incident, the driver and other individuals can also be seen exiting the car in a panic.
The rescuer is an employee of a nearby shopping mall, and his heroic act was captured on the store's surveillance camera.
In the video, he can be seen swiftly grabbing firefighting equipment and rushing toward the burning car, successfully gaining control over the flames.
In response to the overwhelming admiration and praise on social media, the worker expressed, "The fire was in the engine of the car, and there were also family members present.”
“I helped in their difficult time, fulfilling the principle of human brotherhood, and saved the car from the fire," he said.
