Major setback for National Team as forward player injured
The Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is set to be held in India.
Lahore: During the training camp for the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, forward player Roman suffered an injury to his eye after being hit by a ball.
The training camp for the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is currently underway in Lahore.
According to the team management, Roman sustained two wounds in his eye, requiring 10 stitches.
However, the condition of the forward player is improving.
It is important to note that the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is scheduled to begin on August 3rd in the city of Chandigarh, India.
The departure of the national hockey team to India is subject to government approval.
