The upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 will be hosted in India.


Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has placed conditional participation of the national cricket team in the upcoming World Cup 2023, awaiting a decision from the government.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has established a high-level committee to determine whether the national cricket team should participate in the scheduled matches in India or not.
The committee will be headed by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, with Federal Ministers Rana Sanaullah, Azhar Nizam Tarar, Ehsan Mazari, Maryam Aurangzeb, Asad Mahmood, Aminul Haque, Kamar Zaman Kaira, and Secretary Foreign Affairs as its members.
Committee will review all matters related to the World Cup in India and submit its recommendations to the Prime Minister for final approval.
The committee's recommendations will play a significant role in the decision regarding Pakistan's participation in the tournament.
