The family of 14-year-old Abu Zar illegally sent the boy alone on the journey.

Gujrat: Among the missing individuals in the tragic Greek ship accident, Gujrat’s 14-year-old Abu Zar is also counted, whose parents sent him alone on that devastating journey.
"We were sitting in the container, and a few days before the incident, an audio message surfaced," said Abu Zar's parents.
The child messaged his parents, saying, "Assalam-o-Alaikum, Abu Ji, we are sitting in the container. Please pray for us. We have handed ourselves over to Allah. Please pray, as our journey across the sea has begun. May Allah grant us success. I am sitting on the next side of the container. Your son, Sheer, is brave and not afraid. Please pray for us. Whatever Allah wills, will happen. Your son has left, and now life and death are uncertain."
The affected family reveals that they had paid the agent twenty-two lakh rupees. The agent, named Haji Naam, was from the city. They sold their house for eighteen lakhs and took a loan of two lakhs. The deal was made for twenty-eight lakhs. "What can we say? We have been looted. No one has helped us so far" Abu Zar's parents.
With tearful eyes, the impoverished parents are now looking towards the law, as their son cannot return, and perhaps their shelter can be restored.
