Lahore: Nine individuals have been injured in two separate incidents of roof collapse due to heavy rain in Lahore.
The injured have been shifted to hospitals for medical assistance.
According to rescue officials, the first incident occurred in Shahdra where six individuals, including three children, sustained injuries after a roof collapsed.
Four of the injured have been transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Rescue authorities further reported another incident in Nishtar Colony, where three women were injured when the roof of a house collapsed.
The injured women have been transported to the hospital for medical care.
As heavy rainfall continues to impact the city, authorities are urging residents to exercise caution and ensure the safety of their dwellings.
They have also advised people to stay away from weak structures and seek shelter in secure locations during inclement weather.
