'The Nun 2' trailer unveils Taissa Farmiga's return to 'The Conjuring' Universe"
The first official trailer of "The Nun 2" is out on Youtube.


New Line Cinema has just unveiled the spine-tingling trailer for their highly anticipated "Conjuring" project, "The Nun 2."
The sequel, featuring the talented Taissa Farmiga, is set to send shivers down audiences' spines when it hits theaters on Sept. 8.
Set in 1956, the film picks up after a brutal murder of a priest in France.
The official logline teases, "'The Nun 2' follows Sister Irene (Farmiga) as she confronts the diabolical Valak once again."
Farmiga is joined by returning cast members Bonnie Aarons as Valak and Jonas Bloquet as Maurice "Frenchie."
The movie also introduces new characters to the expanding "Conjuring" universe, including Katelyn Rose Downey as Sophie, Anna Popplewell as Marcella, and Storm Reid in an undisclosed role.
Directed by Michael Chaves, who helmed "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It," "The Nun 2" was written by screenwriters Akela Cooper ("M3GAN"), Ian Goldberg, and Richard Naing ("Fear the Walking Dead").
