Hangu: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested four wanted terrorists in Torawari Mountains Hangu.

According to information, the terrorist was involved in receiving ransom money from the locals. The suspects used to call people from Afghanistan number and demand ransom money.

The authorities discovered a machine gun, four Kalashnikovs, two rocket-propelled grenades, and an Afghanistan sim card.

Earlier, law enforcement officers shot and killed six militants in North Waziristan and Tank. According to the military's media wing, a gun fight between militants and security personnel occurred in the Razmak district of North Waziristan, where three terrorists were killed.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that militants remained actively involved in terror activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens.

“Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism,” the military’s media concluded.
