Leeds: England beat Australia by three wickets in the third Test match of the Ashes series.
Chasing the target of 251 runs by Australia in the second innings, the English team came to bat cautiously from the beginning, however Zach Crawley scored 44 runs, Ben Duckett scored 23 runs, and other players also could not hold at the crease for a long time.
Meanwhile Harry Brooks played a defiant innings and scored 75 runs while Chris Woakes 32 and Mark Wood 16 not out played a vital role in the last minute innings. Mitchell Starc took five wickets for Australia.
Earlier in the second innings, the Australian team was piled up for 224 runs. Travis Head played a turn of 77 runs, other players also got out early and returned to the pavilion.
Chris Woakes and Broad took three catches, while Wood's parts two wickets came in. Chris Wood was declared the man of the match for his best performance in the match.
