Swat: At least two children died and two were injured after a landslide struck the Watkay Gul Abad area, outskirts of Mingora city in Swat on Monday.
According to Swat Rescue 1122, Spokesperson, Shafiqa Gul stated that the rescue 1122 team worked hard to extract all four youngsters who were buried beneath landslide rubble and have been transferred to the Saidu Teaching Hospital in Swat.
She stated that the children were alive while being transported to the hospital, and that two of them died as a result of their injuries.
Further the representative of Rescue 1122, Swat, the youngsters were playing near their "under-construction site" when the landslide happened, burying them alive.
The deceased and injured children were between 3-7 years and relatives of each other.
After the landslide the locals, police, rescue and other agencies started their rescue operation, according to police the rescue operation ended and all the children were rescued in which two were died.
