Sidhu Moose Wala murder case: Main suspect hospitalized, security tightened

Bathinda: Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster and a key suspect in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, was urgently transferred from Bathinda jail to Faridkot medical college on Monday night due to his deteriorating health.
Subsequently, he was moved to a heavily guarded room.
Lawrence Bishnoi is involved in numerous criminal cases and had previously made threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan from prison, allegedly due to community dissatisfaction over the blackbuck killing case.
Last year, Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the fatal attack on Sidhu Moose Wala, who was tragically shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Mansa, Punjab. The incident occurred shortly after the Punjab government withdrew the singer's security.
Bishnoi and his gang, comprising professional shooters, operate across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh, with an extensive network spanning the globe. The Bishnoi gang is notorious for extorting money from the liquor mafia, Punjabi singers, and other influential individuals.
