Interior minister claimed that women had been hired for 1,700 positions in the Islamabad police.


Islamabad: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan laid the foundation stone of Women Police Station in Islamabad and pledged to provide all facilities to police force on Thursday.
According to details, the interior minister claimed that women had been hired for 1,700 positions in the Islamabad police.
Further Rana Sanaullah highlighted that development projects of one hundred and fifty billion rupees are underway in the federal capital.
The Minister stated that the government has made sure that financial help is provided to the families of fallen police officers. He praised the work of the federal capital police and other officials for keeping the area peaceful.
According to him, salaries of the Punjab police and the Islamabad police are now equal. The Minister placed a strong emphasis on instituting discipline within the police force in order to enhance its favorable reputation abroad.
Rana hoped that Islamabad police will perform their duties with diligence and compassion. He said Bara Kahu flyover projects is a mega project for the residents of Islamabad which will benefit thousands of people in the capital.
Earlier, The Islamabad police introduced Dolphin Force in Islamabad to curb the increasing crime in the federal capital. The Force has been established in Islamabad on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
