Imam-ul-Haq, a prominent member of the national cricket team, has secured a contract in the Lanka Premier League.
Lahore: Imam-ul-Haq will be participating in a league outside of Pakistan for the first time, as he has signed with the Colombo Strikers.
Imam-ul-Haq will be playing as a replacement for Ireland's player, Lorcan Tucker, in the Colombo Strikers, where he will be joined by his national team captain, Babar Azam.
It is noteworthy that Babar Azam has also signed a contract with the Lanka Premier League.
Colombo has signed a contract with Captain Babar Azam, as well as with Methisha Patirana and Chameera Karunaratne.
David Miller, Matthew Wade, Shakib Al Hasan, and Tabish Shamsi have also secured direct contracts in the PSL, including players from Sri Lanka.
The Lanka Premier League is scheduled to take place from July 30th to August 22nd this year.
