Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday suspended the non-bailable arrest warrants of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry in election commission case contempt case, GNN reported.
According to details, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of IHC heard the case in the presence of Fawad’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry.
Court ordered Fawad to appear before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on July 20.
Justice Tariq remarked that former minister should appear before ECP, if he failed to do so then contempt of Election Commission case would be proceeded against him.
