Lahore: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have mutually agreed to dissolve National Assembly on August 08, GNN reported quoting sources.
According to sources, law experts have also stated that the National Assembly will be dissolved on August 08.
However, the term of National Assembly will end on August 12 at 12:00 am.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will send the summary to President Dr. Arif Alvi on August 08, after which the National Assembly will be dissolved after the signature of the President.
Constitutionally, the elections are to be held within 90 days after the dissolution of assembly.
