The sources told that former Chief Minister of Punjab was transferred to Rawalpindi by a heavy convoy of police.


Rawalpindi: President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has been transferred from Lahore Camp Jail to Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, GNN reported.
According to jail sources, Pervaiz Elahi was transferred from Camp Jail to Adiala Jail early in the morning at 6:00am. He has been detained in jail under three Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) rules.
The sources also told that former Chief Minister of Punjab was transferred to Rawalpindi by a heavy convoy of police.
It is pertinent to note that former PTI president has been detained for 30 days by the Deputy Commissioner Lahore over the possibility of holding a political rally that would create a chaos in the country.
