The PML-Q chairman Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain received a call from the former governor of Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar. Both of the leaders talked about issues related to the caretaker setup throughout the meeting.

Shujaat hoped that after discussions among the allied parties, the interim prime minister would be selected unanimously.

The former governor of Punjab said, "It is essential that the constitutional measures are followed in order to promote the nation.

Further, Sarwar thought there should be no debate over the caretaker arrangement.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Shafay Hussain also attended the meeting.

Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have mutually agreed to dissolve National Assembly on August 08.
