Notice has been sent to both leaders and they are required to appear at the FIA Islamabad Headquarters on July 24 in relation to the cypher matter.

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Former federal minister Asad Umar summoned by the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) in cypher case on Wednesday.
According to information, notice has been sent to both leaders and they are required to appear at the FIA Islamabad Headquarters on July 24 in relation to the cypher matter.
Earlier today, The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) summoned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman on July 25 (Tuesday) in a “cipher conspiracy” case on Wednesday.
The former premier had been called to appear at FIA headquarters with all the required documents.
The FIA notification warned that the PTI head would face consequences if he failed to appear before the agency.
The development occurred as a result of a statement made by Azam Khan, the former prime minister's personal secretary, in which he referred to the former premier's use of the US cypher as a "conspiracy" to "manipulate for creating a narrative against the state institutions."
In his statement, the former bureaucrat claimed that when he gave the ex-premier the cypher, he was "happy" and termed the language as a "US blunder". The former prime minister allegedly responded by saying that the cable might be used to "create a narrative against the state institutions," according to Azam.
