Peshawar: President of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Wednesday that he knew the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief was a foreign agent.
He underlined that as time passed, the truth about the PTI chairman was coming to light.
Speaking at a news conference, the JUI leader claimed that he had informed the country of the ties between the PTI leader and the Jewish lobby as well as the allegations that in 2018, he had received financial support from the Mossad, RAW, and foreign forces.
Additionally, Fazl claimed that after 75 years, Israel made an unjustified complaint of Pakistan in the UN, noting that Pakistan's independence was founded on support for the Palestinians. Pakistan did not acknowledge Israel's criticism, he continued.
Earlier today, Former Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Azam Khan recorded his confession statement before the Magistrate under Section 164 regarding cypher.
According to details, Azam Khan recorded a statement against Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and termed cypher as a deliberate conspiracy.
The principle secretary told that all the cabinet members were involved in the issue of cypher and all of them were told how the cypher can be used. It has nothing to do with reality, it is only used for political purposes.
Azam Khan further said in his confessional statement that PTI chief created a false and baseless narrative of Cypher by hiding all the facts. Cypher was shown as external conspiracy to avoid no-confidence motion.
His statement told that former prime minister said: “I will change the narrative of people by making a false perception of the cypher”.
Azam Khan stated that Chairman PTI took the cypher from me on March 09 and later lost it. Despite this, he floated the secret letter for personal gain.
Details further told that earlier on March 8, 2022, the Foreign Secretary told Azam Khan about the cypher. Shah Mehmood Qureshi had already told the former prime minister about cypher, however he wanted to use it to create a narrative against the opposition and the establishment.
Former Prime Minister decided to keep cypher with himself which was a violation of the law, on asking for the cypher back, Chairman PTI said it was lost.
