Riyadh: Five people were killed while eight were injured in a collision between two vehicles on the Al-Batha Hiraz road in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
According to details, the Red Crescent, Civil Defense and Road Security Force have reached the spot and conducted emergency operations.
Eastern Region Governorate said that a family of seven people was traveling in a vehicle with a Saudi Arabian registration number plate, while twelve people were traveling in another vehicle with an Emirati registration number plate.
The accident was so severe that a car was destroyed by fire. Governor Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Nayef Al Saud has directed the concerned authorities to take care of the injured and provide all necessary facilities.
