Govt decide to deploy army across the country during Muharram
The Ministry of Interior Pakistan sent notice to all Provincial and Azad Kashmir's government.
Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has made the decision to deploy the military across the country during Muharram.
Under Article 245, the Ministry of Interior has ordered the deployment of military personnel nationwide, and notices have been sent to all provincial governments and the Azad Kashmir government.
In addition, the Sindh government has imposed Section 144 in the province, including Karachi.
Double riding on motorcycles will be prohibited on the 9th and 10th of Muharram, except for women, children, the elderly, and journalists.
According to the announcement, carrying weapons in the city will be strictly prohibited from the 1st of Muharram, and without permission, processions, rallies, and gatherings will also be banned.
