The security of all processions and gatherings during Muharram will be up to the Pakistan Army, the police, and other law enforcement agencies.
Earlier today, the federal government has declared public holidays on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashur.
According to the notification issued by the government, the entire country will observe public holidays on the 28th and 29th of July.
