PSX witnesses impressive surge on last day of business.


Karachi: The Pakistani rupee continues to decrease in the exchange rate against the US dollar.
In the interbank market, the value of the dollar climbed to Rs286.80 for buying and Rs289 for selling, showing an increase of Rs0.66 compared to the previous rate of Rs285.15.
Meanwhile, in the open market, the dollar is being traded at Rs289.
It is worth noting that the dollar had reached a record high of Rs285.15 in the interbank market recently.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is experiencing a positive trend in the business week.
PSX witnessed a remarkable surge on the last day of the trading week, with the PSX 100 index gaining 473 points, reaching 45,872 points, compared to the previous day's closing at 45,398 points.
