Investigation report of lawyer murder case submitted in SC
It has been said in the report that PTI chief has not involved in the investigation till date.
Islamabad: The investigation report on the nomination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman in the murder case of lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar has been submitted to the Supreme Court.
According to details, Prosecutor General Balochistan submitted the investigation report related to the murder case in the Supreme Court.
It has been stated in the report that according to First Information Report (FIR), the deceased had filed an Article VI case against Chairman PTI and he was being threatened for filing case against him.
According to the report, a seven-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) was formed by the Ministry of Interior on June 08 during the investigation.
The JIT under the chairmanship of Director Inspector General (DIG) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has held eight meetings so far. It was decided to investigate four suspects including Chairman PTI in the case and to call them in the first meeting of JIT. The former prime minister was sent the summon notice on June 19.
It has been said in the report that the statements of the deceased's wife and two brothers have also been recorded. PTI chief has not involved in the investigation till date. However, the investigations are underway.
