Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved both the appointments on the summary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Islamabad: Khalil Hashmi has been appointed as Pakistan's new ambassador to China, while Khalid Jamali appointed as Pakistan's ambassador to Russia.
According to details, Khalil Hashmi is currently Pakistan's delegate to the United Nations and has been assigned the responsibilities of Pakistan's new ambassador to China.
Khalid Jamali, who has been appointed as the new ambassador of Pakistan to Russia, is currently working as an ambassador in Poland.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved both the appointments on the summary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is pertinent to note that implementation of the decision to appoint these ambassadors has been delayed for a long time, however now the quick approval has been issued by the prime minister.
