Four-year-old beaten to death by father

Lahore: A four-year-old child was tortured and killed by his stepfather in Lahore.

According to details, the accused father has been identified as Usman who was arrested by the police.

The authorities told that accused killed the child and took the body to Pakpattan. Police shifted the child's body to Lahore for legal proceedings. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Investigating authorities said the accused Usman had been arrested and a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.

Police stated that Usman had married the deceased Chand's mother 20 days ago and he used to torture Chand and her sisters. However, the cause of such brutality has not been ascertained as yet.
