Mohammad Amir signs a contract with Derbyshire for the upcoming season.


Lahore: Former national cricketer Muhammad Amir has signed a contract with English county Derbyshire for the 2024 season.
Amir's contract with Derbyshire makes him an overseas player for the upcoming season.
The cricket head of Derbyshire expressed his delight, saying, "Muhammad Amir is one of the world's finest bowlers, and I'm thrilled to have him back in Derbyshire."
The team's captain, Mickey Arthur, stated, "Muhammad Amir will lead our red-ball and T20 cricket bowling attack. I am well aware of all his qualities, and I hope all the Derbyshire fans will support him."
Amir himself commented, "My cricketing experiences in county cricket and with Mickey Arthur have been tremendous. The county championship has always been close to my heart, and I've learned a lot. I will strive to make the most of my experience in contributing to Derbyshire's red-ball and T20 cricket."
