The Earthquake has a recorded depth of 12 kilometers.


Kozan: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake shook the southern region of Turkey.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the district of Kozan, located near the Syrian border, approximately 64 kilometers away from the city of Adana.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake had a recorded depth of 12 kilometers (7.46 miles).
No reports of casualties or significant damage have been received yet.
The earthquake monitoring center in Istanbul reported that the quake occurred at 5:44 AM local time on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that Turkey experienced a devastating earthquake in February with a magnitude of 7.8, resulting in widespread destruction.
According to International media, that earthquake claimed the lives of more than 50,000 people in Turkey and resulted in the destruction of thousands of buildings.
