ATC extends PTI chief's bail in three cases
The ATC duty judge Muhammad Bashir announced the extension in the interim bail as the ATC judge Abu Alhasnaat left the office.
Islamabad: The interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former prime minister has been extended in three cases on Wednesday.
According to details, the anti-terrorism court extended the interim bail of the PTI chief in three cases registered against him under the terrorism act till July 31.
The ATC duty judge Muhammad Bashir announced the extension in the interim bail as the ATC judge Abu Alhasnaat left the office.
Earlier today, Accountability Court on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi till July 31 in 190 million pounds Al-Qadir Trust case.
The court also accepted Bushra Bibi's request for exemption from attendance today.
According to details, 190-million-pound case against Chairman PTI Imran Khan was heard in the Accountability Court of Islamabad, during which Barrister Ali Gohar told the court that lawyer Khawaja Haris was busy in the Supreme Court hearing, then he has to go to High Court.
Supreme Court has given the direction, there are holidays ahead, therefore give the date for hearing after holidays, said Barrister Gohar.
During the hearing, Deputy Prosecutor General National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sardar Muzaffar said they say the same thing in every hearing that it is the case of interim bail.
Responding to which Judge Muhammad Bashir said to give him the date of tomorrow, Monday 31st July is fine, Khawaja Haris will also come.
Accountability court said that there will be final arguments regarding interim bail on July 31 and extended the bail till date.
