Cellular service will be suspended on Muharram 11th from 2 pm to 7 pm in Shah Allah Ditta and from 12 pm to 7 pm in Bari Imam Noorpur Shah.


Islamabad: Mobile phone services will be suspended in Islamabad on 9 and 10th Muharram owing to security threats.
According to information, the interior ministry informed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in a letter about the suspension of mobile service in Islamabad.
Mobile services will be banned in I-8 and surrounding sectors on September 9th from 6 pm to onward, while they will stay suspended in Islamabad's G-6 and G-7 sectors from 1 pm to 10 pm.
Cellular service will be suspended on Muharram 11th from 2 pm to 7 pm in Shah Allah Ditta and from 12 pm to 7 pm in Bari Imam Noorpur Shah.
According to the letter sent to PTA, mobile service will be cut off in Islamabad on the ninth and tenth of Muharram on the recommendation of Chief Commissioner's advice.
