Redmi launches first-ever gaming smartphone
Xiaomi's subsidiary Redmi has taken the first step in the gaming phone market by introducing the 40th gaming edition of Redmi.

The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition has all the features that a good gaming smartphone can have.
The newly introduced phone carries a 120 Hz screen display, 480 Hz sampling rate, physical shoulder triggers and a 5000 mAh battery that can operate comfortably for a day on a full charge. The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with HDR10 Plus support, DCIP3 coverage and 120Hz refresh rate support.

Inside the device is MediaTek's Dimensity 1200 processor with 6, 8 and 12 GB RAM and 128 and 256 GB storage options.
Graphene, graphite and vapour chambers have been used to make the phone warm during gaming, but there is no built-in fan.

With a 5000 mAh battery, there is 67-watt fast charging support that is capable of fully charging the battery in 42 minutes. There is a set of 3 cameras on the back of the phone, including a 64-megapixel main camera with an 8-megapixel Ultra Wide and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The design of the camera setup is unique while the device has JBL tuned stereo speakers. High-resolution audio and Dolby Atmos support are also part of the phone.
The phone will be available in China in late April with a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version for 1999 Yuan (over 47,000 Pakistani rupees).
Similarly, the model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage 2199 yuan (more than 52 thousand Pakistani rupees), the phone with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage 2399 yuan (more than 57 thousand Pakistani rupees) and 12 GB RAM And the version with 128 GB storage will be available for 2699 yuan (more than 64 thousand Pakistani rupees).
The company will also be offering a special Bruce Lee Special Edition with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The company has not yet announced the price and availability of this special edition model.
