Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says the assembly will submit summaries for dissolution to the president before conclusion of the term.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has asserted that the events of May 9 were part of a conspiracy against Pakistan, its armed forces, and the Chief of Army Staff.
In a recent interview with a local TV channel on Sunday, he pointed out that the mastermind behind this conspiracy was the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to Shahbaz Sharif, the conspiracy involved the collaboration of women, men, political factions, certain military personnel, and their families. The plotters aimed to destabilize the country and incite internal conflicts by attempting to overthrow the military leadership on May 9. The motive behind this conspiracy was to create anarchy and internal strife in Pakistan.
On the topic of the current government's term, Shahbaz Sharif mentioned that the National Assembly's term is set to end on the night of August 12, at 12 o'clock. Before the term concludes, the assemblies will submit summaries for the dissolution of the assemblies to the President.
Discussing the upcoming elections, the President of the Muslim League-N stated that seat adjustments could be considered with alliance parties, including the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Jamaat-e-Islami. However, in areas where seat adjustment is not necessary, the PML-N will field its own candidates.
When asked about the potential candidate for Prime Minister from the PML-N in the event of their victory in the elections, Shahbaz Sharif unequivocally declared that if the PML-N secures the election, their candidate for Prime Minister will be Nawaz Sharif.
It should be noted that following the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan by the FIA in the Al-Qadir Trust money laundering case, incidents of violence occurred in various cities across the country as the public properties were set on fire while the sanctity of memorials for martyrs was violated.
In the aftermath of the events on May 9, several PTI leaders publicly distanced themselves from the party and severed their ties with PTI. Some PTI leaders chose to join the Pakistan Peoples Party, while Pervez Khattak and Mahmood Khan formed their own factions within PTI.
