Karachi: The 100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) Monday crossed the level of 48 thousand after two years.
Today, the first day of the business week saw a positive trend in PSE 100 index from the beginning and currently the 100 index is trading at 48,118 with an increase of 1041 points.
It may be recalled that during the last business week, the level of 100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange was at the highest level of 20 months and the index was positive by 1156 points in the business week.
At the end of four-day business week, the index stood at 47,077 and the index remained in the band of 1,520 points during the business week. While 1.5 billion shares were traded during the week.
