Railway police officer opens fire in India
The incident claims 4 lives including senior officer in Mumbai Jaipur train.
Mumbai: A tragic incident unfolded in India as a railway police officer opened fire on a moving train, resulting in the deaths of four people, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
According to Indian media reports, near the Palghar Railway Station in Mumbai, a police officer opened fire on his colleagues and passengers.
In the incident, four individuals, including ASI Tika Ram of the Railway Protection Force, lost their lives.
A constable of the Railway Protection Force reportedly fired 12 rounds from his AK-47, targeting different locations inside the Jaipur-Mumbai train.
The Indian media reports that the constable, Chetan, responsible for the shooting, has been taken into custody by the Boisar Railway Police.
