Bilal Ashraf condemned the events of May 09 in the video message.


Faisalabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket holder from PP-112 Bilal Ashraf Basra has announced to leave the party and politics.
According to details, Bilal Ashraf announced his separation from the party and politics through a video statement issued on social media.
In the statement, Bilal Ashraf Basra announced his withdrawal from PTI and politics.
Bilal Ashraf condemned the events of May 09 in the video message.
May 09 Tragedy
Earlier on May 09, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested PTI Chairman Imran Khan from the premises of Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the Al-Qadir Trust case, after which protesting PTI workers attacked military installations and government properties. Jinnah House Lahore and the building of Radio Pakistan Peshawar were also set on fire.
After the May 09 atrocities in the country, the law enforcement agencies took strict action and arrested several miscreants, while the main leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf were detained under 3MPO on the occasion.
After the crackdown against PTI, many prominent leaders of the party have called it quits, including Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, Aamir Kayani, Ali Zaidi, Imran Ismail, Pervaiz Khattak, Mahmood Khan, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Fayyaz Chauhan, Malika Bukhari, Aftab Siddiqui and Mahmood Maulvi are also included while the Secretary General of the party Asad Umar has also resigned from all the posts.
The number of leaders who have separated from PTI has reached more than 100 in numbers.
