Faisalabad: The dacoits looted Rs 20 million cash outside a bank in Tata Bazar Faisalabad on Tuesday.
According to police, a local plaza employee went to deposit money in the bank when four alleged robbers on motorcycles grabbed the money and fled the scene.
As per details, police officials said that CCPO has ordered to cordon off the city's entry and exit points and arrest the alleged dacoits after receiving a report from the SP Iqbal Town Faisalabad.
As renowned comedian Wali Sheikh was earlier robbed at gunpoint on Karachi's Northern Bypass, the city's incidences of motorbike snatching and theft at gunpoint could not be minimized.
Details indicate that armed motorcycle riders took the well-known comedian's cell phones and Rs85,000 in cash.
