After the cleaning, Kaaba was perfumed with pure Oud, Rose and incense scents.


Makkah: The annual cleaning ceremony of Kaaba took place today (Wednesday, Muharram 15) om Makkah for which the door of Kaaba was opened.
According to the Arab media, Imams and officials of Haramin Sharif administrative affairs also participated in the ceremony of cleaning the Kaaba.
Key bearer Al-Sheikh Dr. Saleh Al Zain opened the door of Baitullah and Prince Badr bin Sultan, Deputy Governor of Makkah, washed the interior of Kaaba.

The Deputy Governor of Makkah represented the Custodian of the Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
During the ceremony, the inner walls and floor of Baitullah were cleaned while 20 liters of Zamzam water and rose water were used.
After the cleaning, Kaaba was perfumed with pure Oud, Rose and incense scents.
