Randhir Kapoor admitted to hospital after testing COVID positive
Veteran Indian actor and father of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor on Thursday was shifted to hospital after being diagnosed with the deadliest coronavirus. However, the actor’s health condition is said to be stable.

According to Doctors, the actor's condition is continuously improving and underwent several tests. "He was admitted to the hospital last night for COVID-19 treatment. He remains stable, there's nothing to worry,"
The 74-years old renowned Bollywood actor is the latest celebrity of the Indian showbiz industry who has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor, the nephew of Randhir Kapoor also tested positive for COVID after which he immediately quarantined himself which led to his speedy recovery.
During the second wave of COVID in India, many other Bollywood celebrities got infected with the virus including Paresh Rawal, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan.
Randhir Kapoor is the eldest son of the late legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor is best known for his performances in films such as Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Jeet, Jawani Diwani, Lafange, Raampur Ka Lakshman Haath Ki Safai.
He married actress Babita but they got a few years separated later. The couple is parents to daughters - Karisma and Kareena (both are top actresses of their generation).
India’s COVID crisis is worsening with more than 200,000 coronavirus deaths till now. The figure of new coronavirus cases is also mounting with more than 300,000 cases per day since the last week and the total number of cases since the outbreak has touched the figure of 18,552,365.
