His son-in-law Arif Saeed told that late Ijaz Butt was the Chairman of PCB from 2008 to 2011.


Lahore: Former chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and former Test cricketer Ijaz Butt passed away.
According to details, his son-in-law Arif Saeed has confirmed that Ijaz Butt was 85 years old and has been ill for a long time.
His son-in-law Arif Saeed told that late Ijaz Butt represented Pakistan in 08 Test matches. He was the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board from 2008 to 2011.
According to the spokesperson of PCB, the board also expressed grief over the death of Ijaz Butt.
Apart from this, PCB also expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
