Murder suspect escapes from police custody in Peshawar
The suspect managed to flee during transferring from the hospital to Central Jail.
Peshawar: The suspect in a murder case has managed to escape from police custody in Peshawar.
According to the police, the accused was involved in the murder and other serious crimes, and took advantage of negligence while being transferred, escaping the grasp of four police officers who were later suspended and arrested.
The police stated that the suspect, Kamran Aziz, was being taken to a judicial lockup from Police Services Hospital for medical treatment.
During the transfer from the hospital to Central Jail in a private vehicle, the suspect managed to flee.
A case has been registered against the concerned police officers at Gulft Hussain Hashtrangi Police Station.
