Chairman PTI was summoned by the court at 8:30 am but he has not appeared in the court yet.


Islamabad: District and Sessions Court judge judge Humayun Dilawar reserved the verdict of Tosha Khana case which will be announced at 12:30 pm today (Friday).
According to details, the judge stated that if Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris would not appear by 12 noon, the verdict will be passed without hearing.
Islamabad Sessions Court Judge Humayun Dilawar is hearing the Tosha Khana case in which the court had summoned Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in his personal capacity.
Chairman PTI was summoned by the court at 8:30 am but he has not appeared in the court yet.
At the beginning of the hearing, Judge Humayun inquired whether any lawyer had come on behalf of PTI.
When no one appeared on behalf of PTI, the judge asked Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) judge Amjad Pervez if he would like to say anything.
Later, when the hearing of the case resumed, PTI's lawyer Khalid Yusuf appeared in the court and told that Khawaja Haris is present in accountability court and some time is required.
ECp lawyer Amjad Parvez said not only Khawaja Haris but Chairman PTI was also asked to attend today.
Judge Humayun Dilawar asked PTI's lawyer when his client Imran will come to the court. On this Khalid Yusuf said that Khawaja Haris will come to the session court and share the details.
Judge Humayun Dilawar said, “Tell me the name of the case in which Khawaja Haris is busy”. To which the lawyer responded that Khawaja is busy in the bail case of Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi. He will come to the court free of charge.
On this, Election Commission's lawyer Amjad said someone told me that the matter of the case in the accountability court is at 2:30.
Judge Humayun Dilawar said that if Khawaja Haris does not appear till late at night, then what will happen? Sessions court had called him at 8:30am.
The judge said that in the light of the decision of Islamabad High Court, an adjournment was made till 12 o'clock.
