The arrest of the accused has brought the total number of offenders arrested from abroad to 103.


Riyadh: The proclaimed offender Zahid Iqbal involved in six murders was arrested from Saudi Arabia.
According to details, the accused has been brought to Pakistan with the help of Interpol and handed over to Nowshera Warkan Police for further legal action against him.
The arrest of the accused has brought the total number of offenders arrested from abroad to 103.
Punjab Police told that the suspect involved in six murders was arrested from Saudi Arabia. Zahid had killed four people in one incident and two people in another incident.
The police stated that the accused had fled abroad after committing serious crimes. Special Operation Cell team traced and arrested the accused Zahid Iqbal from Saudi Arabia.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said: “With the arrest of Zahid Iqbal, the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from abroad has risen to 103”. Actions against the accused will continue with the cooperation of federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Interpol and other agencies.
