Insaf Lawyers Wing protested in Lahore and Gujranwala, following the arrest of PTI leader Imran Khan.
Lahore: Lawyers from Lahore and Gujranwala protested against the conviction and arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.
Insaf Lawyers Wings protested at GPO Chowk in Lahore and raised slogans. Along with male lawyers, female lawyers also participated in the protest.
The protesters were carrying PTI flags. The lawyers peacefully protested for some time and then dispersed.
On the other hand, a demonstration was carried out by lawyers of the Tehreek-e-Insaf Forum. The lawyers protested under the premises of the District and Sessions Court Gujranwala.
Lawyers tried to protest outside on the road of the session court but police officials stopped the protestors at the gate.
Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyers also carried placards in protest against the arrest of the former Prime Minister.
On this occasion, the lawyers raised slogans in favor of Imran Khan and against the government and the police.
The lawyers of PTI Lawyers Forum and the police also had a bitter exchange, after recording the protest, the lawyers dispersed.
