Islamabad: A meeting of the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) was held under the chair of PM Shehbaz in Islamabad on Monday.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir and other senior military officials reportedly attended the Apex Committee meeting and reviewed the progress so far under the SIFC.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Maryam Aurangzeb, Ahsan Iqbal, Aminul Haq, Musadik Malik and other civilian authorities attended the meeting.
The executive and implementation committees' decisions regarding the petroleum summit, the IT conference, and the situation following the release of agricultural forms were taken into consideration during the meeting.
The discussion also covered matters pertaining to Chinese and Gulf country investments in Pakistan.
