Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,696 cases of coronavirus were reported while 146 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 17,957.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 825,519.
As many as 717,009 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,490 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 303,182 in the province with 8,500 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 283,560 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,645.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 118,413 in the province with 3,310 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 22,369 confirmed cases while 236 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 17,187 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 476. On the other hand, there are 5,310 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 75,498 cases in the capital city while 683 people have lost their lives.
