Lahore: The Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is set ablaze as Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh declares a fiercely competitive stance against Pakistan in the upcoming match.
Harmanpreet Singh remarked, "Our match against Pakistan will be a showdown of high intensity. We need to focus on our game plan and play smartly."
He further added, "We will stick to our structure and strive to conclude the match in a dominant manner. The India-Pakistan match is bound to be a full-house thriller."
Notably, the Pakistan-India clash in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday.
In a concerning development, national hockey player Abdullah, who was admitted to a hospital in India due to health issues, has been discharged.
Recall that Abdullah, a key player of the Pakistan hockey team present in India, was hospitalized yesterday due to deteriorating health.
After conducting several tests, he was later discharged.
Head Coach Muhammad Saqlain shared that Abdullah had been unwell for the past couple of days.
He had been suffering from a high fever and throat infection.
He was admitted to the Chennai Hospital this morning for quick recovery.
