The cable car that was meant to transport tourists suddenly halted.

Canada: The incident unfolded in the Rocky Mountains of Western Canada as hundreds of tourists found themselves trapped on a mountain peak due to a sudden cable car malfunction.
According to media reports, tourists were stranded as they attempted to reach the mountain's summit.
The cable car that was meant to transport them suddenly halted, leaving them hanging in precarious positions.
The operator of the cable car, Tania Outts from the Press Tourist Company, stated that the cable car stopped due to a power outage caused by the storm.
While some passengers were rescued from the cable car's cabin during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, there are still individuals remaining on the mountain's peak who are unable to descend.
The challenging situation has prevented them from descending safely before nightfall.
On Wednesday morning, the company, in coordination with National Park authorities, continued rescue efforts using helicopters to evacuate the stranded tourists.
Among those who experienced the ordeal was 46-year-old woman Eby, who was on a family trip.
She recounted their night on the mountain, mentioning that they were provided with water, light refreshments, and blankets during their extended wait on Sulphur Mountain.
The prolonged waiting period, lasting over 12 hours, left her exhausted and disappointed.
Eby highlighted that many others faced similar circumstances, and she criticized the authorities for what she perceived as slow actions.
She claimed that some individuals decided to face the darkness and make their way back down the mountain.
The authorities have not provided any official comments on the matter.
