The actress disclosed the incident during her participation in a special event at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne.

Melbourne: Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee has revealed the unfortunate loss of her five-month pregnancy.
The disclosure came during her participation in a special event at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne, where she discussed various stages of her showbiz career and shared personal revelations.
Mukherjee explained that her pregnancy was lost due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, a challenging period for many.
During the promotional campaign for her latest film "Mrs. Chatterjee's Verse Norway," she did not publicly discuss her miscarriage to avoid any misinterpretation of the event as a promotional tactic.
It's important to note that "Mrs. Chatterjee's Verse Norway" was released in March 2023, based on the book "A Mother's Journey."
The film portrays a real-life incident that occurred nearly 12 years ago in Norway involving an Indian couple.
