President Alvi approves 696 personalities for awarding civil awards on Mar 23
According to details, 397 individuals will receive civil honors in recognition of their outstanding work in a variety of sectors.


Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi on Monday approved the names of 696 personalities for awarding civil awards on Pakistan Day on March 23, 2024.
According to details, 397 individuals will receive civil honors in recognition of their outstanding work in a variety of sectors.
As per details, civil honours will also be awarded to 299 martyrs of the Covid-19 epidemic in which dozens of doctors were included.
Earlier, President Dr. Arif Alvi urged the political leadership and the people to get united to take the country in the direction of progress and development.
Addressing the nation after unfurling the national flag at the main flag hoisting ceremony held at Convention Center in Islamabad today, he said: “This is demand of time that Quaid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's message of Unity, Faith and Discipline is truly followed”.
President stressed that it is unity that makes a nation. The time has not yet passed and the path is open for Pakistan. He was confident that Pakistan can become a developed country in a matter of few years.
Arif Alvi urged the politicians and other stakeholders to embrace the path of forgiveness, drawing inspiration from the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The importance of embracing the core values of Islam was stressed, stating that veering away from these principles would exacerbate the situation.
