Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar says the decision has been taken, keeping in consideration that the students will get more time to prepare for the medical colleges' entrance test.

Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on Tuesday issued a directive to extend the date for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) until September 10th.
PM Kakar took the step to extend the deadline for the MD-Common Admission Test (MDCAT) to September 10, 2023.
Originally slated to take place on August 27th, the decision to extend the MDCAT test date stems from a careful consideration of the circumstances and the well-being of the students.
Taking to Twitter, PM Kakar wrote, “I have directed the relevant authorities to get the MDCAT examinations postponed until 10th September 2023. This decision has been taken, keeping in consideration that the students will get more time to prepare for the medical colleges' entrance test. #DelayMDCAT2023,”.

As September 10th approaches, aspiring medical and dental college candidates are anticipated to intensify their preparations, capitalizing on the additional time granted to them. This extension serves as a testament to the government's commitment to nurturing and promoting quality education in the nation, allowing students to demonstrate their true potential on a fair and equitable platform.
