Numerous Pakistani cricketers have set their sights on the United States as a potential avenue for advancing their cricket careers.

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday took a stringent stance, issuing show-cause notices to cricketers who engaged in cricket activities in the United States without obtaining official permission.
Numerous Pakistani cricketers set their sights on the United States as a potential avenue for advancing their cricket careers.
As a result, a significant number of players have ventured there to participate in various cricket activities. To maintain oversight and governance, the PCB enacted measures mandating players to secure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before partaking in overseas leagues.
Nonetheless, it came to light that more than 15 Pakistani players proceeded without seeking proper authorization from the PCB prior to engaging in cricket-related endeavors in the United States.
In response to this breach of established protocol, the PCB initiated decisive action by issuing show-cause notices to these players, prompting them to explain their actions.
Certain players asserted that their acquisition of American citizenship exempted them from the need for a No Objection Certificate (NOC). However, when Pakistan's cricket authorities requested substantiation of their citizenship status and solicited a formal declaration of their unavailability for potential participation in the national team or domestic cricket, these players remained unresponsive.
